Regenerative Garden Care
I have extensive knowledge and skills in all aspects of horticulture, including specialist pruning and plant care. I have developed my own unique approach to gardening that follows regenerative practices, believing that a healthy ecosystem and holistic approach will give you a garden that thrives now and for generations.
Prioritising soil health and never using harmful practices or chemicals is at the core of everything we do. At Root and Soil, we believe that everyone deserves the best service and professional care towards their gardens.

Natural Lawncare
Fed up of your messy lawn full of so called “weeds”? Rather than fighting nature, I work with it to create beautiful “lawns”.
Like all parts of the garden, I start with the soil and listen to what it’s telling me about its health. I focus on building soil rich in organic matter with microbes that lead to a healthy and resilient lawn. I never use synthetic fertilisers that only provide a quick fix (and ultimately degrade the soil) or other chemicals that destroy biodiversity, which is so essential to creating a healthy ecosystem.
Using correct mowing and nurturing techniques I will keep your lawn looking healthy all year around. If you want to consider alternatives to grass, we can discuss other options that don’t involve plastic grass (something which doesn’t belong anywhere near a garden!)
Garden Design
Combining the beauty of nature with the artistry of man. With my unique style and vision, teamed with an extensive knowledge of planting and maintenance, at Root & Soil we create bespoke gardens with nature at their heart, that will thrive for generations.
I have worked alongside inspiring designers and implemented their designs to the highest standards, then nurturing them over many years. I understand the value of a garden that works in a practical sense as well as being a beautiful addition to your home.
Currently studying for my design qualifications from the British Academy of Garden Design, I am developing a service that can be beneficial to us both; get in touch to find out about my introductory offers.
Consultancy, Advice & Troubleshooting
General Upkeep
If you need advice on plant issues, the upkeep of your garden or need help with improving soil health and the overall ecosystem of your garden, I can help. Drawing on my experience, learnt knowledge and love for plants and nature I’ll assess and give guidance so that your garden thrives.
New Properties
If you have recently purchased a property, or are about to, and are unsure on what plants are in the garden or its overall health, I can investigate and compile a report for you.
